GTA SA Definitive Edition
The game takes place in 1990’s Los Santos and is based on real-life Los Angeles. In this game, players take on the role of Carl “CJ” Johnson. In his return to his hometown after five years, he becomes involved with gang violence and a grave plot spanning three cities. The game’s characters, story, and the world have remained iconic for nearly 18 years.
What we find most striking in GTA SA Definitive Edition: is its visuals and textures. Generally speaking, the former has been improved overall, with AI upgrading textures to higher resolutions. In some instances, the upscaled AI loses some of the original’s charms. Upscale AI has created round metallic rings with hexagonal nuts instead of nuts and donuts for the signs. It also appears that the texture mapping is incorrect in some places.
Visually, the game is brighter and more appealing with the lighting. The shadows bring depth to the characters. In the mission “Drive-By”, CJ, Sweet, Ryder, and Big Smoke go to a Cuckin’ Bell and order food, because of the high implementation of shadow, the character has blended into the darkness and the facial reactions have entirely disappeared.
